1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of hasantayem.com, the personal website of Hasan Tayem, based in Padova, Italy. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using the site

You are welcome to browse, share and link to any page. When you use the site, please do not:

  • use it for anything unlawful, or to send spam, advertising or misleading messages through its forms;
  • try to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or the services connected to it;
  • get around the security checks on the forms, or send forms automatically;
  • pretend to be someone else when you contact me or book a call.

Search engines and AI assistants may crawl, index and summarise the site as allowed in its robots.txt file. A plain-text profile for AI systems is published at llms.txt.

3. Content and intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the text, photographs, videos, logo and design of this site belong to Hasan Tayem or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may quote short passages with a clear credit and a link to the page they come from.

Journalists, event organisers and partners who need photos, a biography or a logo for coverage or promotion can request them through the contact page. Please do not use photos or the logo in a way that suggests an endorsement or partnership without written agreement.

Names and logos of other organisations mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used only to describe events, partnerships or media coverage.

4. Information on the site

I work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but its content is general information about my work. It is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Guidance about accessibility and WCAG on this site is general and does not certify that any website or product meets legal requirements.

5. Enquiries, bookings and engagements

Sending an enquiry or booking an introductory call does not create a contract or oblige either of us to work together. Keynotes, workshops, consulting and other engagements are confirmed only by a separate written agreement that sets out the scope, fees, travel and cancellation terms.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a call, please use the link in your confirmation email, or let me know as early as you can.

6. Other websites and services

The site links to other websites and uses services provided by others, such as social networks, Cal.com for booking and YouTube for videos. Accessibility Pro (accessibilitypro.app) and All Access World are separate projects with their own terms. I am not responsible for the content or practices of websites I do not control.

7. Accessibility

Accessibility is central to my work, and this site is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA and to work with screen readers, keyboard navigation and zoom. If you meet any barrier, please tell me at accessibility@hasantayem.com and I will fix it or provide the information in another format.

8. Liability

The site is provided "as is". I cannot guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect loss, or for any loss arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Privacy

How personal data and cookies are handled is explained in the Privacy & Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you use the site as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
