Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent experience participating in the groundbreaking “Baltic Sea Region Anti-Trafficking week-long simulation training in Brühl, Germany, 8 November 2023.
organized by Council of the Baltic Sea States and The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe
Let me take you through this dynamic and immersive journey where I stepped into the shoes of a blind person who has faced trafficking.

A Dive into Authenticity: As a blind role player, I fully embraced the character, immersing myself in the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in human trafficking situations. The simulation wasn’t just a role for me; it was an opportunity to bring authenticity to the character, providing unique insights into the struggles of victims with disabilities.

Feeling the Energy: The energy during the training was palpable! It was heartening to see professionals from diverse sectors across the Baltic Sea Region coming together with commitment and enthusiasm to combat human trafficking. Their collaborative spirit left a lasting impression on me.

Offering Deeper Insights: My aim wasn’t just to play a role but to contribute something meaningful. By stepping into the character, I wanted to offer a deeper understanding of the complexities involved in human trafficking, especially for those with disabilities.

Gratitude and Future Collaborations: I can’t express enough gratitude for this opportunity. I’m excited about future collaborations to ensure a more inclusive and effective approach in our anti-trafficking efforts. Let’s keep the momentum going! 💙🌟
